Apple & Pumpkin picking

Is there a more basic fall activity than Apple picking? I think not! *Every year millions of New Yorkers head up state to the apple farms. They take their children and pay $30 for a bag of apple they have to pick themselves.

*not actual facts.

Us included! We do it every year and always look forward to it. Even my oldest who's 11 always has fun and loves to go. It really is just a fun way to spend a fall day with friends and family.

This is our little one 3rd year going, but it felt like the first time since he actually participated. He picked a few apples and ate like 3!

It's also a great time for a photo opp. It's the perfect scene to dress up the family and take some pictures. So throw on your fall best and shoot your holiday card.

We didn't get much pictures of the festival, but at Harvest Moon Orchard in North Salem, they have an awesome festival going on right now. So much good food options and tons of activities for the kids. Maybe we'll be able to squeeze in another visit before the season is over. But I will definitely have to stop by the store at the farm to pick up the most delicious pumpkin cheesecake! We got it on Sunday and today, Tuesday, its already gone!

Hope you enjoyed all these pictures!
